The Scarborough Walk of Fame has launched a new website, giving the community an opportunity to learn about many of the builders and stars who have called the east Toronto community home. The website is found at https://scarboroughwalkoffame.com .

“It’s incredible the talented and dedicated people who have emerged from the Scarborough community. We’re proud of the Walk of Fame members and we can’t wait to unveil our next group of recipients in the next few weeks,” said SWOF chair Marg Middleton.

Walk of Fame members are honoured by a star in a court on the main floor of the Scarborough Town Centre. An electronic board will soon give visitors an opportunity to learn about the 55 people inducted so far. Four Rising Star awards have been given to young people who have distinguished themselves in the community.

Sponsors of the 2022 program include rising star sponsors Scarborough Town Centre, Roadsport and Centennial College.
